Pasador: The Vagabond

Description

Okay, so, long story short, my friend and I were hyping over the Temeraire series after I introduced it to her, and she says to me "Jess, we should write a Temeraire fanfic." (The likes of which will never, ever, grace the Internet's pages anytime soon.)
So I said, "Hmm."
And she replied, "Hmmmmmmmm."
So I suggested, "What if we made a Temeraire/Pirates of the Caribbean crossover?"
At which point she spazzed out in excitement.

Anyways, one of the fruits of that otherwise rather unfruitful conversation was this guy. I chose a Flecha-del-Fuego, because a) they are Spanish and therefore awesome, b) they're light combat weight because I don't really want a massive dragon, and c) they breathe fire. That totally floats my boat. And better still, since they haven't been described in the books to any great degree, I had plenty of excuse to take liberty with the deisgn.
My friend, meanwhile, has probably forgotten and not chosen a breed yet.
So I called him Pasador, because according to Google Translate, that means "vagabond" (it also more commonly means hairclip or barette, but we won't mention that).
He's a pirate dragon, hence is flag. Aaaargh.

If I could go back, I probably wouldn't have done his head yellow. It bugs me. But I'm totally happy with his wings. They're so rich and velvety in real life, darn you scanner, like dark red rose petals.

I'm spanish, and I love this dragon

But... The membrane in the tail and the crest are a bit exaggerated, or not?
